Divya santhi Ashram is an example for service. “Protect and rub the tears of the people who are being disregarded and deniable from the families by relatives or anybody” is the prime aim is of this Ashram. It was started on 02/09/1995. People from different corners of the society felicitated this initiative also. In the year 2008, exactly on 14/04/2008 the inmates of this ashram had been shifted to their new building. Now this centre is having 32 persons as inmates, most of the people are handicapped, mentally challenged, heart patients and so on. Patients are being taken to Mental Hospital, General Hospital and Medical Collage for better treatments. The center is located in Vettucadu, half kilometer away from Vettucadu church on the way to Shangumuham junction.
OBJECTIVES:
To protect the mentally sick people and unwanted wandering people.
To ensure rehabilitation to those men who wander through the streets having no one as their won and giving them shelter.
ACTIVITIES:
Providing Service to the people who are unable to do their daily activities alone.
We teach different prayers to the inmates and moreover that providing s think hat everything will be accomplished through the prayer.
Teaching to do the daily routines well and keep the house as clean every time.
Giving charges to the people who are having ability as well as physical strength to do different jobs.
Providing coaching for different games.
We are promoting empathy than sympathy. Facilitating helpful mentally in between personalities.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
We could able to construct a house which is having the capacity to accommodate 50 people.
Most of the inmates have been trained to do their daily routines well.
We could motivate the people to help others.
We help to identify the self values and beliefs of each person and through that we built a self confidence among them.
We made the we feeling situation. Somebody is making kitchen garden and full people are consuming the same.
Everybody is instructed to behave through love.
Visitors of the Ashram are getting motivation to care their parents or relatives when they are in need.
Made the inmates to work with the sisters.
